High Rise in Ben Lomond Arkansas

Ben Lomond is an incorporated village 12 miles south of Lockesburg. The population is estimated at 350. The post office is a money order office . Mrs. Allie Rhyne is post mistress. Ben Lomond has five general stores, a god graded school and several churches.
The Masons and the Woodmen of the World have lodges there. Ben Lomond occupies a commanding position on the ridge, separating the Cossatot and the Saline valleys and is home to many prosperous farmers whose farms lie in the fertile alluvial bottoms of the Cossatot.
